  We were stranded after our SUV broke down in Corinth that was towing our RV. I have 5 kids and one is a baby. I'm in the Army and we were going home for vacation from El Paso Texas. We baked in the heat of a parking lot for 3 hours in June while my RV insurance's towing company never showed. A man stopped and towed my rv to a near by park he was an angel and our first good samaritan. He gave me the name of a mechanic and told me to call him the next day. I called him, and he attends this church. Before me and my family new it we were being fed and checked on like we were from there. He wasn't our mechanic he was a good samaritan. We felt at home too. There were many church members that helped us...to many to list and i dont want to use names. We were so blessed. We were watching god work right in front of us. I used it to teach my kids about how God works through people to help others. We have made life long friends at Oakland Baptist. We will be back many times and actually would live in Corinth if it was possible but we can't. This church is on fire for the Lord. The people we have met are the best god has to offer. Please try this church. Please pray for its people. My family and I are so greatfull for them and will be back to this town our whole lives.

  This is one of the largest churches I have ever attended but it is the most welcoming place I have ever been. The presence of God is so very evident during worship. Brother Randy Bostic is a truly God led pastor.
